In the event of a marriage break-down (legal or common-law), your former spouse may be entitled to a payment from the Plan as per The Pension Benefits Act, 1992 (Saskatchewan).
You should contact Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services Inc. (the plan administrator) to discuss your options in this situation.
To help you make informed decisions, you will receive a statement annually outlining, among other things, all employer contributions and member contributions.
All rights and privileges are identical for both male and female members of the Plan.
A copy of the Plan text may be examined by any member at any reasonable time.
